Respect for Tri-City Red Continues in Statewide Coaches' Poll; Tri-City Blue Continues to Maintain its Ranking
The Red continued to earn respect from statewide coaches; after moving up to a ranking of 2nd (from 4th) in the 7/15/01 poll, TCR maintained its 2nd place ranking in the July 22nd poll. Meanwhile TC Blue advanced in the rankings, moving up to 6th from 7th place, on July 15th -- and maintained its 6th place slot with the July 22nd poll. So, for the third week in a row, Tri-City earned the distinction of having both of its Legion teams ranked in the top 10!!!!! Quite an accomplishment, considering there are approximately 350 Legion teams in the State of Minnesota!!!! To review complete poll results, take this link to the Statewide Coaches' Poll Page, which is being maintained within this site during the season.
